Rosenwald Achievement Center

TEACHING TODAY’S CHILD
The Yeshiva of South Shore is a prestigious institution, one with a glorious and impressive history of meeting the needs of each and every child. With an eye on the future, this institution has pioneered innovative and creative new approaches in teaching today’s child.

In the middle of this bustling school, there is an island, a magical place where children can flourish and thrive, broadening their horizons in all kinds of ways.

Teachers within the framework of the conventional classroom must teach with a curriculum, addressing the level of a wide range of students and intellectual levels. In every group of students there is so much hidden potential, so many latent strengths that need to be cultivated and developed.

Enter the Rosenwald Achievement Center.

It is a world where there are no limits on a child’s mind, where his spirit can soar, where his true gifts can shine. There are challenges placed in front of him especially designed to stimulate him, unique exercises that ignite within him a thirst for knowledge. The Rosenwald Achievement Center is a place where positive energy flows, where floodgates of inspiration are opened, where children learn with joy and dynamism. The talented staff, the top of the line technology and the most effective new educational programs, have combined to make the center a place of extraordinary accomplishment.

The Rosenwald Center is a place that children run to with a sparkle in their eyes, a place where their happily and willingly spend their free time. It is a classroom where the teacher is speaking to them.

The underlying foundation of this approach is a simple fact; an unchallenged child becomes a problem. A bored child will quickly grow disenchanted with the learning experience.

For some children the program replaces regular classes while for others, the program is the venue where they spend free time.
